Midnight and Sport Packages Enjoy Massive New Year’s Popularity for Personalization of 2021 Chevy Trax

The various types of digital news flashes we offer here on the Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis blog provide insight into which new models are popular and all of the great reasons why! The Chevy Trax has proven to be ideal for many brand-new car buyers who want value pricing along with modern style and tech features, and now it’s evident that the Midnight and Sport Edition packages are luring one in five Chevy Trax buyers.

A recent Chevy press release brought to our attention documented the success of the Midnight and Sport Edition packages as the prime reason for similar packages soon to be seen on the 2021 Chevy Traverse. The Sport Edition adds the unique and aggressive touch of 18-inch Gloss Black Aluminum wheels, black badging, and black beltline moldings. The Midnight Edition infuses the well-equipped crossover with dazzling new black paint, the same wheels as the Sport Edition, the badging and beltline moldings, along with black skid plates and body panels covered in Mosaic Black Metallic Paint.

The Chevy Trax rides on the GM Gamma II platform and has recently received a new 1.4-liter Inline-4 LE2 engine, cranking out 144 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque and available with both FWD and  AWD. This engine was first introduced in the 2016 Chevy Cruze and features direct injection. Each model offers a standard 7-inch touchscreen, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, available all-wheel drive, and onboard 4G LTE and Wi-Fi. This is a capable and expertly-equipped model that fiercely battles the competition in the form of rivals such as the Kia Seltos, Honda HR-V, and Mazda CX-30. If you find yourself frequently fighting the battle for a fitting parking spot or attempting the feat of squeezing into a small garage, the Trax’s ideal size weighs well in its favor.

There are up to 48.4 cubic feet available with the rear seats folded, and the front passenger seat folds flat providing space to accommodate items up to 8 feet long inside. Both the Trax LS and LT trims sport 16-inch aluminum wheels, and the LT has heated, body-color side mirrors, as well as taillights with LED accents. The LT offers up other premium features such as remote vehicle start, cloth/leatherette upholstery, LED daytime running lights, plus a luggage rack, tinted rear windows, and cargo cover.

One reviewer on KBB.com claimed that this was a 5-star choice and an “absolute dream come true” in regard to the purchase of her brand-new Chevy Trax. A defining market acceptance rate, overall increased sales, no maintenance surprises, and reliable transmission track record were just some of the very highly-ranked traits. A stellar choice for anyone who wants to enjoy all of the offerings of a modern and convenient crossover, check out either of these two popular appearance packages soon for your own personal daily driver as a holiday wish come true!
